  • Windows 10 Pro
  • Windows 10 Enterprise
  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
  • Windows 11 Pro
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2022
  • Linux Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 on x64 processors (does not support ARM processors)
MemoryMinimum of 16 GB of RAM (recommended)
ProcessorMust support Intel AVX2

Minimum: Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 1000
Recommended: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 3000 (or better/similar)
1. For Intel processors, this generally includes CPUs that have Haswell microarchitecture or later (released after 2013). For AMD processors, this generally includes CPUs that have Excavator microarchitecture or later (released after 2015).
LandingEdge is not compatible with macOS.
LandingEdge doesn’t deploy models. The only deployment option for is Cloud Deployment.

GPU Support

Using a GPU is optional. If you plan on using a GPU, we recommend using an NVIDIA GPU with at least 8 GB of RAM. LandingEdge supports CUDA compute capability 5.2 to 12.1 (Maxwell to Blackwell architectures). For example:
  • GeForce GTX 1070 through GeForce RTX 5090
  • Quadro P4000 through RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell
  • Tesla P4 through RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server
For best performance, we recommend using the Ampere architecture or later. For example:
  • GeForce RTX 3050 through GeForce RTX 50xx
  • Quadro RTX A2000 through RTX PRO Blackwell
  • A10 through RTX PRO Blackwell
The following table lists the minimum required driver version for NVIDIA GPUs.
Operating SystemMinimum Driver Version
Windows528.33 or later
Linux525.60.13 or later

GenICam Support

You can use GenICam-compliant industrial cameras with LandingEdge. You must install a GenTL Producer in order for LandingEdge to communicate with the camera. A GenTL Producer is the transport layer interface that enables the camera and LandingEdge to communicate with each other. The GenTL Producer is often included as part of your camera manufacturer’s SDK, like the Basler Pylon SDK or Allied Vision Vimba SDK. If you’re having trouble finding the GenTL Producer for your camera, try the SDK for your manufacturer.

Supported Image File Types

LandingEdge can run inference on the following image file types:
  • PNG
  • BMP
  • JPG
  • JPEG
  • TIFF
  • MPO: An MPO file is a Multi-Picture Object file. It contains two JPG files that create a stereoscopic image when overlaid. When you upload an MPO file to LandingEdge, LandingEdge selects one of the two JPG files. Sometimes, a JPG from a smart phone might be interpreted as an MPO because it contains the main image and an embedded thumbnail. In this case, LandingEdge selects the main image.
